Social Etiquette and Good Manners - appropriate gift

Expert: Suzanne Zazulak Pedro - 7/3/2009

Question
Just need 40th birthday gift ideas for new love interest.
Thanks

Answer
Dear Patti:

Thank you for your inquiry on an appropriate 40th birthday gift.  You are wise in your careful approach to gift giving for a new love interest.  Ideally, you would like to display a bit of affection, not to overall overt, with a hint you are originally and or mysterious to keep him interested.

Maybe, something exotic?  How about an adoption usually from your local zoo (as a donation) of some sort of exotic animal.  You can pick out which animal based on price and  they will send either a certificate of ownership or for more money a plaque at the zoo with his name as a sponsor of the animal.

Or you can purchase him a star from our universe by googling purchase or buying name of star.  The packages start at $19.95 and up.

And then there are car, sports or general interest items.  But that is so so blaze.  Try out the items I mentioned and I am quite sure no one has given him something like his own star or white tiger.

Good Luck, and if you need anything else, please contact me, and I will be happy to respond.  I remain

yours truly,

Suzanne
