Social Work/Live Scan Background check

Question
I've been offered a job with the SSA in California. Interview and exam completed, physical and medical exam as well. They are now requesting a DOJ fingerprint live scan report. I was arrested a few years back for drugs but released with no charges, convictions, misdemeanors or orders to complete any drug programs. Everything was dropped but the arrest record still exists, I'm sure. Will this disqualify me from getting hired?

Answer
Dear Nancy

if you have not been found guilty, the incident may not affect your job prospect. However, you may be kept in watch for any future possibility. from legal point of view,I suggest you to seek advice from an attorney.

best wishes
