I don't mean to poach on Tom's question but at this age level the opposing coach needs to be schooled on the rules of interference.  You cannot teach 12-14 yr old girls (or anyone) to run through a defensive player attempting to make a play.

" "You run through that first baseman, you own that basepath."  NOTHING could be further from the rule.  The defense must be allowed to field a batted ball ANYWHERE on the playing field.  The offense must not enter or vacate any space needed for the defensive player to do that.  If they do not it is interference, the "basepath" in this case does not exist nor is it in any relevant to the play.  Another thing that coach needs to learn.
