I think I know who you are talking about. The singer's name was Michel'le and when she spoke, she sounded like she was a kid, but her singing voice was somewhat strong. She had two main hits in the late 80s/early 90s: "No More Lies" and "Something In My Heart". I hope this can help you a little bit! =)

She's talking about Michelle' (pronounced Mi-Shell-Lay) who was produced by Dr. Dre.  Her big hit was "No more lies" which had the catchy hook line of:  doot doo, da-doot-doot, da doo.  He had a minor R&B hit that was a ballad but was never heard from again.

The name of the singer was Michel'le.  She is actually the cousin of rap producer Dr. Dre.  I know she did a few tunes such as "Nicety", "Something in my heart, "Daydreaming" which was an Aretha Franklin remake.  As far as I know, she's still in Cali.  Don't know what she's up to.

Are you referring to Michel'le? she had a high pitched singing voice and did a song with Ice Cube.  I am not sure what happened to her.

The woman you are talking about is Michelle, pronounced MECH-SHA-LAY. Her speaking voice was like a little girl

Angela wrote at 2008-04-05 06:11:49
Your right. Michelle was a R&B singer from the 90's. She had 2 hits, "Something in my Heart" and " No More Lies". At that time in her career she was the girlfriend of Dr.Dre. Once there relationship ended her music career soon followed. I'm not sure what she is doing now because she has no more entertainment credit that i could find. I hope this answered your questions.

audria wrote at 2008-04-15 03:51:15
You're speaking of michel'le. She sang "something in my heart" "nicety"

She has a kid with dre and suge. She was signed to deathrow for a while and is supposed to be working on her third album.

I believe the singer you are talking about is Miche'le. She had a hit with the song "No More Lies". She also appeared on the song released by the West Coast All Stars called "The Same Gang". She started out in a group that recorded a song called "Before You Turn Off The Lights". This song also featured a pre-NWA Dr. Dre.

Skimmer wrote at 2008-05-29 19:43:56
Michel'le was an R&B artist in the early 90's. She released her self-titled debut album in 1989, which contained the hit singles "No More Lies" and "Something in My Heart". She was romantically involved with Dr. Dre who produced her first album. Legal issues with Death Row Records prevented a follow-up LP being released until 1998, and by then her appeal had faded.

I know who you are talking about.  Her first name

is Miscellea - might not be the correct spelling of her name.  I don't know her last name.  Her talking voice does sound like a child.  Last I heard about her - she gave up singing. I think she got married to a Rapper - I don't know his name.

Tina101 wrote at 2008-09-30 20:21:46
There was a singer named Michelle'. She sang 'No More Lies' and slow ballad 'Something in My Heart'. She was dating and working with Dr. Dre (producer).  I don't know whatever happened to her though.

There is a female singer whose name is Michel'le.  She had a song called "No More Lies" which is on a cd called HOT LADIES OF THE 90'S.  She had also performed her song on Soul Train circa 1988 or thereabouts.  Another singer you might want to check out with a child-like voice is Millie Small from 60's era who has a dynamite cd.

busydee wrote at 2008-10-16 02:07:45
Stop! There is a singer by the name of Michelle'....there is an asterisk above the letter "e". And she did have a voice like a little child. Try looking it up by that name and you may find it.

Dee wrote at 2008-11-16 22:32:06
You are thinking of the artist Michel'le. She sang Nicety I think and a few more songs. I do not know what becamse of her but she did have the childlike voice. I remember it from her "I am 100% woman baby" line in one of her songs.

Michel'Le was an actual artist, she released an album under Dre's Death Row Records in 1989.  She is still recording and shopping her material to various labels.

Rachelle wrote at 2009-04-28 02:17:56
You are talking about Michel'e. She had a powerful singing voice but a child-like talking voice. She was a west coast singer affilated with Dre' and MC Ren. She sang "There something in my heart"

Let's set the record straight...She has a son by her former boyfriend "Dr. Dre" and a daughter by her former husband "Suge Knight". Although Dr Dre's name was all over the album, it was written and produced by "Andre (L.A. Dre) Bolton" and "Larry (Lay Law) Goodman"

Her name was Michel'le (me-shel-lay) she went through a label dispute with Eazy-E when she tried to leave Ruthless Records for Death Row (This was when Dr. Dre and Suge Knight first started the label). She has children by both Dre and Suge Knight and is working on her third album

I believe you are talking about Michel'le she made a  few songs in the late 80's or early 90's.  Her songs include Nicty as well as a slow song called Something in My Heart  She is the mother of Rapper/Producer Dr. Dre's son and former Death Row owner/excutive Suge Knight's daughter.  She is now on a show called LA Divas on Centric TV where she is still speaking like a little girl. Hope this helps
