Hi, I'm Kyleigh...

I'm a 16 year old female and I weigh about 101 and am 5'2" so I'm pretty much average, but I'm not healthy...I don't eat like I should, I either don't eat enough, and people think I'm anorexic or I eat "Junk"

Basically I need a good diet and exercise plan so that I can stay thin and get healthy, because I know if I continue to just eat when I get extremely hungry then I can get sick, and if I eat "Junk" I can gain weight, My weakness is definitely M&M's and Dove Chocolate...I excersice some, but not like I should...I walked a mile and a half last night, but then usually got to stressed out with school and work during the week to do anything.

I don't eat breakfast which I know is bad, but don't have time to eat it...and If I do eat breakfast I usually don't eat lunch...I met with a counselor and she told me that if I stopped eating like that then when I did eat my body would store it as fat, because it would need to do something...idk I kind of got sidetract when she was talkin...

I really need to get healthy and in shape quick, because I got offered a lifegaurding job at the pool but really need to be in shape to do it...


Please help me, It will be grately appreciated....

Sounds like you know what you should do. Walk, eat three meals, don't eat too much junk. Probably your worst habit at this point is skipping meals, so how about making a commitment to eating something for both breakfast and lunch? You don't need to stuff yourself with a Grand Slam, but could you eat a piece of fruit and some cottage cheese or yogurt? Then, don't skip lunch-eat something, and make sure it has both carbs and protein. Try apple slices with peanut butter for dip, or a handful of almonds. And keep up with the walking-you'll find that it really brings your stress level down.
