Special Diets/a few questions re: raw paleo diet

Question
Hello there.  I have a few questions, I will list them in order below:

1).  What can the raw paleo diet offer in terms of increasing height?  I'm
wondering if a person can actually grow a little taller...
2.)  Is there anything I can do to reduce scar tissue both internally and
externally?
3).  In regards to iris color change, my eyes are dark brown and have been all
my life.  I'm curious about the notion that dark eyes are a sign of toxicity...
especially since the majority of the world's population has brown eyes.  What
color eyes should I expect to have if my eyes are very dark brown now and I
begin a raw diet?
4).  I think I have a sluggish thyroid.  Which food do you recommend to
remedy this?  Is it possible to completely change the chemistry and DNA of
my body with food alone?

Thank you for your time.  I greatly appreciate it!

Regards,

Robyn F.

Answer
I've been told by another poster that I made a serious mistake, in my previous answer re scar-tissue. What I really meant was that you should get hold of raw animal fats from GRASSFED, ORGANIC-RAISED animals, NOT from grainfed animals!

--------------------------------------------------------------------If you're below the age where one's height stops increasing, then just by avoiding foods to which you're allergic to, etc., you'll be able to become taller, due to less disruption of growth-hormone etc. However, once past 30, as I understand it, one's bones tend to "set" so that further growth is impossible, short of surgery. I remember my father stating that he grew an extra half an inch between 20 and 25(he was on a cooked-diet), so it is possible to grow a little past the main spurt of growth at around 16.

Re scar-tissue:- All I can suggest is using raw animal fats from grainfed animals such as raw suet, marrow, tongue, hide- and muscle-fat. You might also consider using raw code liver oil. The only good one I know of is the blue ice cod liver oil product.

Re iris-colour-change:- There are conflicting reports re this. Some like me report only a partial change in iris-colour over a great deal of time(outer-half is now greenish, inner half light brown, formerly pre-raw I had dark brown, almost black irises), others report a full change of iris-colour, while others report no change at all.

I've been told by others more knowledgeable in this field that Caucasians tend to develop lighter-coloured irises after going for raw animal foods(either green, grey or blue), while non-Caucasians develop amber-coloured eyes(this from the primal diet yahoo group). I think that makes sense - last I checked, Caucasians all have greyish-blue eyes at birth.

Re thyroid/DNA:- I would strongly suspect that eating raw animal foods would change to some extent the way your digestive system works, allowing less energy to be focused on digestion, due to extra enzymes in the raw food etc. I'm also sure that DNA/cells etc. would likely be less damaged in old-age, due to RAF foods. However, we'll need another 200 years before we get reliable scientific studies proving this point.

Thyroid-friendly foods include:-

Go in for lots of raw fish/shellfish and perhaps a little seaweed for the iodine. You'll get copper from raw meats and especially raw organ-meats.

Expertise

I can answer most questions on Raw Animal and Vegetable Food Diets such as the Primal Diet, an organic, raw-meat-based diet and a number of similiar all-raw or partially raw Paleolithic diets, such as the Instincto, Weston-Price, Neanderthin, Paleo and Stefansson Diets. Can also offer advice on how to resist social pressure to eat cooked foods etc. For further info on Raw-Animal-Food diets, it's a good idea to browse through GoodSamaritan's website, http://www.rawpaleodiet.com/ , and also to join the following two forums and read their message-archives :- rawpaleoforum.com and http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/rawpaleodiet/

Experience

I have been 8 years on a 99%+ raw version of the Palaeolithic Diet and experienced numerous health benefits as a result, being fully recovered from my previous symptoms from my cooked-food days. My own individualised raw, paleolithic diet routine is mostly based on Aajonus Vonderplanitz's Primal Diet(ie 99% raw, usage of "high-meat",no processed supplements, using primarily naturally-reared, organic or wild sources of raw foods) but, for personal reasons, I have also been, to some extent, influenced by ideas from:- Instincto(ie:- taste/instinct,no raw dairy/no raw veggie juice), Weston-Price(eg: preferring grassfed meat to grainfed meat, incorporating a wide variety of raw organ-meats into my diet along with the usual muscle-meats, and Vilhjalmur Stefansson(high-fat diet, pretty high proportion of (raw) animal food), but also eating some raw carbohydrates such as raw organic/wild fruit/veg/honeycomb etc.). I'm also a firm believer in the feast-and-famine idea (ie Intermittent Fasting) as regards boosting one's energy levels, and giving my body a rest from constant digestion.

Education/Credentials
No nutritional qualification(I don't believe in standard(misguided) nutritionist doctrine, so I don't feel the need). I simply rely on mine and many others' long-term experiences of raw, palaeolithic diets and I've read most of the books that are vaguely relevant to a raw-meat diet.
