Question
Hi I'm about to embark on a low carb diet -everything seems 'do-able'except when I stop drinking tea and coffee I can crashing headaches-is it essential to give up caffeine

Answer
Julie-
It is fairly important to at least cut down on the caffiene. The headaches are normal-it's a sign of physical addiction, and they'll go away in a few days. If your addiction is strong, then you'll feel like you don't have any energy for a week or two-after that, you'll be back to normal.
As a side note, if you have cellulite, some women will notice a big improvement if you cut out caffeine entirely.
