Special Diets - A new diet plan

Question
Hello Melissa.

I would like to eat healthy because I've recently discovered that the body and
mind work together. I'm a 35 year old male, 5'10 at 179 lbs. I jog every day
for 30 minutes for about 3 years now and I eat fruits and veggie foods, as
well as a lot of fish, seafood, some chicken and carbs. I stopped eating meat
for several years and have no intentions of going back. Plus, I'm on lipitor to
help reduce my LDL cholesterol. Anyway, I seem to have a hard time
concentrating when I'm at college and I understand that there are foods that
will help me stay focused in college.

Can you please help me with a diet plan that will accomplish this?

Best regards,

Julian

Answer
Julian,
You're already eating foods to help you concentrate-my only suggestion to you is that you try to eat almonds or walnuts a few times a week. You're also exercising, which is far more important than food choices when it comes to concentration and focus.
However, you're still having trouble concentrating. You'll need to check with your family doctor about this, because there are medical reasons that you might have problems concentrating, and only a doctor can check for those conditions.
Good luck!
Melissa
