Question
Hi, i hope you can help..... i want to lose major weight. I weigh 330 lbs and I'm 22yrs. old. I'm 5'8 and I'm a female. How many calories should I stick to per day to lose as much weigh as possible...maybe two or more pounds per week?

I eventualy want to weigh 165lbs. Can u help?
also-
how many fat grams should i limit myself too?

Answer
Angelica,
I am not sure how many calories at 330 pounds, maybe 2300 or 2000.  Do you know how many calories you typically eat?
Maximum fat grams; 90 grams of fat at 2300 calories, 77 grams at 2000 calories.

I suggest to eat 6 times a day in smaller meals to help to speed up your metabolism.

Typical weight loss day example approx 2000 calories:
B:1.5 cup cereal, 1.5 cup milk, 2 fruit - Please MEASURE your cereal out.  Please have a fruit instead of fruit juice.
S. 1 more fruit, 16 almonds, a 200-300 calorie power bar.
L: 1 cup rice or pasta, 4 oz chicken (4 fingers size)
S: carrot sticks, 16 almonds, 8 plain crackers, 1 cup yogurt.
D: 1 cup milk. 1 cup potato, rice or pasta. palm size meat. as many veggies as you want.  Please no soft drinks as they hinder weight loss.
S: 3 cups popcorn and a fruit
Remember you can eat unlimited vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cucumber etc).

Remember the body likes consistency, so he more consistent you are with times of day and amount of food eaten the better your results!! Best of luck and I hope this helps,
Lea
