You call yourself an expert, but you should check yourself. HCG has been used in Europe for over 50 years - it is simply the hormone made during pregnancy and it has been proven OVER AND OVER again that it does work - effectively and SAFELY. There are NO records of dangerous effects. It was discovered by an extremely credible and responsible British physician named Dr Simeon. I've seen how it works via my client with fantastic results - who was even able to get off of her diabetes medication because of the weight loss - particularly the fat she had on her abdomen and waist line. So before you speak you should be a little more educated on the subject not just make off the cuffs remarks.

I agree. Anyone who has done even a moderate amount of research into HCG for weight loss will see the truth: HCG is effective and safe.
The FDA used botched studies to incorrectly determine that it did not work. The so-called experts who constantly clamor that it is dangerous never seem to give specific data to support their claims, they can never point to any research or documented cases where HCG has been proven to be hazardous.

I saw Kevin on the Today show earlier this year. I tried the Hcg and lost weight with no side affects. This diet wasnt created by Kevin it was created by dr. Simeons. Hcg is not illegal. Its used for fertility and its a naturally occuring substance within a pregnant female. If diet and excersize alone actually worked the world would be thin.

hCG is not illegal. It has been FDA-approved for certain uses. Although it has NOT been approved as being effective for weight loss, doctors are permitted to prescribe it for weight loss use (and a prescription is a mandatory requirement to obtain it). The FDA has not approved it for weight loss because it has not been shown through clinical studies (at least at a level sufficient for the FDA) that it is effective in the treatment of weight loss. But the fact that it has been approved for other uses allows it to be prescribed "off-label" (as many drugs are -- i.e. for use not originally intended) because it has been found "safe" in other uses. If it's safe, it's safe....it's "intended" purpose doesn't change that. Personally I used hcg and a 500-cal diet and I was very impressed with the results, and know many other people who have tried it. Yes, Trudeau is a bad actor...a marketing guy who made to many wild claims. He went too far, for instance, in saying that the hcg diet is "easy." It's not easy. You have to be very diligent about WHAT you eat and keeping it to 500 cal day. Trudeau's assertions went too far, but that doesn't mean hcg doesn't work. In my opinion, it does.
