Special Education/aide in private school

My son has not done well in his current public school placement. I wanted to send him to yeshiva for my beliefs but we couldn't afford it. Also, the yeshiva feels he needs an aide. My district said they won't provide one, that there was a ruling about this.I replied that the ruling related to paying for jewish private schooling or special ed jewish private schooling. They have to provide an aide at their school, it seems unreasonable to me that they wouldn't have to do this at a jewish school especially since their placement is not working well. I do not want to be reimbursed private school tuition. I only want an aide. Thoughts?

The law specifically prohibits public schools from paying tuition and fees to religiously affiliated private schools. Sorry.

I wish you and your son the best,
