About Stephen Wick
Expertise
I was trying to get into Hobbies/Sewing --- For Sewing. I have sold sewing machines twenty years or so. I can answer questions relating to buying sewing machines, sergers and embroidery machines. Where to go, what to look for. Where to find. What kind of guarantee etc. Also, I have knowledge of Some of the software systems that people use with embroidery machines, and can make suggestions in that regard. Example: The New Home 8000 does not have any software made by the New Home company that will work with it. But I know a company who make some software that will allow that person to download designs off the internet.

Experience
Twenty years of selling, training on various machines, and having to listen to customer's friendly complaints and finding answers to make them happy!

Question
My machine was stored in its protective packing and box for a month  and whwn I took it out to use it. I pushed the power button on the side to turn the light on to thread it and as soon as I clicked just the power button,it tookoff sewing crazy fast, when I pushed the start button to make it stop it would not stop and no matter how many times I turn the power button on and off or the start button it will not stop! (it stops when I push the power button but comes right back on when I push it again. DO you know why? I let it run a few minutes thinking it was doing some inyernal design but was afraid to let it go so fast for more than a minute or two. I have not used it enough to really "know" the machine yet , because I find it reallyt confusing when I tried to do the computer generated stuff. I got so frustrated I stuck it on the shelf, but wanted to give it one more shot before I give up and donate it to the salvation army or someplace and start over with another brand (I do not have the money really, for that though).
do you have any ideas that do not include the dumpster ?!?!

Answer
Kat,

Give White a call
at 800 446 2333....

It sounds like the machine needs
repaired before it will work right.

But call White, and see if someone
there might have a suggestion for
you.  Depending on the age of the
machine - there may be some warranty
on it also.

Thank-you,

Stephen
