The Spice Girls released their 3rd album, Forever, in the UK and it didn't do as well as they hoped. They also worked on individual albums, with Mel C having the most success. They did have a bit more success in the UK as the papers still reported on each of them, but it was more like tabloid stories than about their music. They've all grown up and the chemistry that made the group vibrant and youthful is no longer there. I doubt they will ever work together again, though I think they are still friends.
