there is a lot of debate over whether the spice girl's had musical talent. what do
you think of mel C's singing?

Hi Rachael,

Each to his own!  Meaning everyone can have their own opinion of someone's singing.  And many popular artists today arguably have lesser singing abilities than many people who don't become "famous".  For example, a lot of people admire Madonna though some may say her singing ability in different ranges is not as powerful.  It's not just a person's singing voice that brings forth the charm and popularity.  In my humble opinion, Mel C's got a strong voice in certain ranges and the huskiness of her voice provides a unique strength that makes her stand out from other people.  I don't think she's got a particularly powerful voice such as Celine Dion's or even Kelly Clarkson's.  But does that really matter when it comes to "musical" talent?  There is no right or wrong answer to your question, and you're welcome to have your own opinion on this as well.
