Question
I HAVE DEVELOPED A SEASONING THAT NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE SAID I SHOULD PUT ON THE MARKET. HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING THIS? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU CAN PROVIDE, AND ALSO FOR YOUR TIME.

Answer
Audra,

I will not lie to you, it is hard.  There are many pitfalls that you will encounter but it is the nature of the beast so do not be discouraged if it seems that you are getting nowhere. You do not say where you are from but in Texas we have a program called "GO Texan" it is part of the state agriculture department. The program promotes products that are made in Texas and provides very good information on co-packers, wholesale spice mfg etc. Check and see if your state has such a program. I really could write a book on this. Just remember to take one step at a time. Here are a few steps for you:

packaging
labels
permits
insurance
pricing
website
marketing
wholesale spices
production

Those are not in order but they are some of the things you need to do.

Write me and tell me more of where you are and I will try to be more specific.
