Spices & Seasonings - over seasoning

Expert: Alan Vogel - 1/24/2009

Question
My daughter has become very interested in developing her own recipessometimes she ends up over seasoning, how can you counteract this - namely too much cinnamon?

Answer
Sue,   First I think it is great that your daughter is trying her own thing as I am sure you feel the same way.

Cinnamon is a toughy because the answer can cause more problems. Adding sugar is the answer to too much cinnamon but it must be applied in gradual increments so that you do not over sweeten something ( like that could happen )...lol  Try that and let me know how it works out.

Regards,

Big Al
