About Jerry Expertise I’m not a Doctor so I can’t answer any medical questions or give advice on surgery or reading MRI results. I do have a lot of general knowledge on living day to day with a Spinal Cord Injury for the last 18 years. I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have not only personally experienced the effects of Spinal Cord Injury, but I’ve also worked with and counseled others with the same condition.

oxycontin or morphine...you will probably develop a physical and pyschological addiction to this medicine..which could lead to unpleasnt withdrawals..if the medicine is stopped suddenly...but if you are in agony as you say, that is what you need..
I can relate to the pain my freind..
see your doctor...
good luck

dormant harpies virus finds its way to nerve roots. My "speculation" is that when you injured your back, a pathway was created for the virus to travel to various targets. Try acupuncture, 2 sessions for at least 3 or 4 weeks. acupuncture alleviate pain, boost immune system and produce effect similar to antidepressant. It doesn't hurt to try it. I'm in medical field but not a MD. Good luck!
