Question hi.. i have 2 questions about sports medicine. what kinds of courses do you need to take in highschool to prepare yourself for college. and secondly what are some good colleges to go to for sports medicine thanks...
Answer A strong emphasis on the sciences would be good while you're in high school. You would still need to take other elective courses in college as pre-requisites for entrance into medical school, osteopathic school, chiropractic school, physical therapy school, etc.
As far as schools go, there are many schools out there to choose from. It all depends on what direction you would like to head. You can specialize in the field of Sports Medicine as a medical doctor, chiropractor, or physical therapist.
I think your best bet would be to talk to your school guidance counselor and get some ideas on which schools to look into.
