About Jon Anderson
Expertise
Please note: I will answer questions regarding value of cards. I cannot make this a trading card "price guide lookup service" as that would not be fair or ethical in regards to the trading card pricing magazines. When asking about specific cards, please include the name of the card company, year, and card # if possible. I can answer questions about: Baseball cards (1970's to present) Basketball cards (1980's to present) Football cards (1980's to present) Nascar racing cards (1980's to present) Sports memorabilia in the 4 areas listed above.

Question
How much is a 1997 silver pinnacle xpress metal works card worth?

Answer
The 1997 Pinnacle X-Press Metal Works are listed in the Beckett Football magazine as $120 for the bronze set.  The silver cards are listed as 2.5 to 6 times the value of the bronze cards.  Usually, the multiplier is for individual cards and will not necessarily apply to the value of the complete set, but you can use this as a good price basis.  The most valuable cards in the set are Favre, Marino, and Elway at $20 for the bronze; therefore the silver version would be worth $50-$120.

Hope this helps!

-Jon
