Question
QUESTION: Hi,

I have a complete unopened set of 1997 Flair Showcase Gems of the NBA cards, numbered 106 of 495. MJ, Kobe (rookie), Shaq, Garnet, rodman, Duncan rookie, pippen/jordan.

I also have an upperdeck, 23K Jordan (12587 of 25K)1995, career stats on back with jordan in baseball (45) uniform.

ANSWER: Aloha Stephen,

Thanks for the question and for using AllExperts.com.

The 97 Flair set has a Book Value (BV) of $110.00  It's Sale Value (SV) is between $40.00 and $50.00.  The SV is always between 40-50% of the BV.

The 23KT Jordan has a BV of $22.00 and a SV of $10.00 to $11.00.

Hope this helps.

QUESTION: Thanks.

I have lots of cards and comics that I would like to get estimates on. If I may ask, is there a data base I can reference that you know of?

Answer
Aloha Stephen,

Thanks for the follow-up question.

There is no database set-up for cards or comics.  I'm sure it is because of the vast amount of data that would encompass this database.  Expensive and Very Time Consuming.

I have no knowledge of comic references but would send you to tuffstuff.com, which I use, for your cards.  They have price guides and great forums.

Hope this helps.
