Question
what is the value of a classic 1992 derek jeter high school baseball card? the number on the card is 6.

Answer
Rich,

First...Thanks for the question and for using AllExperts.com.

Second…a little information about the set:

1992 Classic Draft Picks consists of 125 standard-size cards. It was sold in 16-card jumbo packs only to the hobby and periodical industries. The production run was reported to be 5,000 individually number cases, and no factory sets were produced. A ten-card flashback subset (cards 86-95) feature Mike Mussina, Brien Taylor, and Mike Kelly. The Derek Jeter #6 card (in his high school uniform) is the highlight for this set (your card).

Next the card that you are asking about, 1992 Classic Draft Picks #6 Derek Jeter the book value for this card is $2.00 to $5.00.

Always remember if you are looking to sell your cards or if you want to buy cards, these values are just a reference point developed by "average" secondary market sales...if you are a bottom line type of person your card(s) are really worth what you are willing to accept for them or what you are willing to pay.
I hope that this helps a little, Happy collecting!!!

Craig
