Contact my coaching friend Monte Young who runs a program in the East Bay called All Valley Divers. He does not have his own school/pool but uses local public pools for lessons and his diving team. His contact info is:
711 Moraga Drive, Livermore, CA 94550 (925) 447-7761.
E-mail: monte.young@netzero.com
There are only two other places I know of in the East Bay that have diving programs:
Sherman Swim School in Lafayette has an excellent lesson program run by another coaching friend, Steve Sherman. His website is:
www.shermanswim.com.
In Walnut Creek, there are the Diablo Divers, coached by Phil Tonne (U.C. Davis coach)at the Clarke Memorial Pool in Heather Farms Park (off Ygnacio Valley Rd) operated by the City of Walnut Creek Park & Rec Department. I do not have their contact info but if you looked up the website for the City's Rec Dept, I am sure you will be able to find a phone number.
