Go to Kroppskrew.com  My daughter has been diving with Mrs. Kropp on & off since she was in elementary school.  Although she is a gymnast full time, she still is able to dive on a varsity level, and in 7th grade.  Mrs. Kropp is a very nice woman, she encourages the kids, rather than belittling them (as other coaches we've experienced do).  She also uses Tivo as a teaching tool, and has a belt for when they're trying something new.  My daughter did not join the competitive club, which practices at Eisenhower park and at SCCC Brentwood, but instead does the High School clinics in the summer at Sayville Middle School, and used to take lessons there as well.  These options are less intensive, and require less of a committment, but are much more affordable if you're just starting out.  Mrs. Kropp's contact info is on the KroppsKrew website.

New York Diving with coach Kelly Durkin is a great diving team. Practices are in Flushing and platform work at Eisenhower. I live in Nassau County and know several people who travel from Suffolk to dive with Kelly. He's a great coach! Dive@NYCdive.com
