Question Hello, I would like to know if there is a better or best direction to plant rows of vegetables? Is east/west or north/south better?
Thank you
Answer It really doesn't matter which direction your rows go. What IS important is that all of your plants receive maximum exposure to direct sunlight all day long.
To accomplish this, in addition to not planting in the shade of any shrubs, fences, trees or houses, you should plant taller plants to the North of shorter plants, or if your rows go North and South, plant taller plants to the East of shorter plants.
