Question
how many squash clubs are there world wlde

Answer
Mark,

I do not know how many squash clubs there are in the world. I doubt anyone knows, but I did find this at http://www.worldsquash.org.uk/nations.asp
"Squash is a World game, played in 153 Nations, 124 of which are WSF members, and over 50,000 courts worldwide."

Assume 5,000 courts are in schools and universities where courts are not usually accessible to the public (note however that some school and univ. courts are in fact accessible to the public and squash players form clubs, teams and leagues in them).  That leaves 45,000 courts.  Based on what I know about clubs in the US, I would guess that around the world, the average commercial or private club has four or five courts. That would yield 9-11,000 clubs worldwide.  That figure seems reasonable to me, so I would make an educated guess at it.  Sorry I can't be more precise.

Regards,
Hunt
