Squash & Racquetball/Can playing squash give me big arms?

Question
Dear Sir,

I'm trying to build muscles in my two arms.

Can playing squash help me achieve this aim, or should I still go to the gym?

Thank you.

Answer
Hi Liam.  No, playing squash will not build the size of your arm muscles.  It will make your playing arm stronger, primarily your triceps and forearm muscles, and your biceps a little stronger.  But not bigger.  For muscle strength, size, tone and injury prevention I would recommend working out in the gym.  Do you have a weight-training routine for your arms?

All best,
Hunt
