Question Hi I will be visiting St. Martin for the first time 7/17/10 thru 7/24/10. What will the weather be like...any real threats of hurricanes

Answer Hi Joe,
July is in the hurricane season, so it would be hard to predict what the weather would be. It will be hot, as their summer weather coincides with our seasons. You are always taking the chance of being there during a hurricane. That said, we always travel in October, which is also in the hurricane season, and have experienced 2 hurricanes in the past 16 years of visiting the island. I have included some websites for you to check out. I think stormcarib starts prediciting the next years season sometime around Feb. Good luck & have a great vacation!
