Stained Glass - copper foil?

Question
Hi there~ Whats the common size of copper foil to use on making lamp shades? Thanx~ Kim~:)

Answer
hi kim the only size i ever use is three sixteenths 3/16 it will give you the best looking lead lines.i would also suggest you use 60/40 solder as it flows better than 50/50 and takes a better patina.the reason being the patina work's on the tin content which is the first number.also would you please rate me. thank's chetty
