Question
Hello, please tell me, with all you experience, the secret of soldering old (80 years) zinc came.

hello robert  this is a hard one first the zinc has to be cleaned very good try a wire brush or fine emery cloth.then i use a stronger flux i have had good luck using allen's stainless steel flux but it is very strong acid.and you must take caution when using.good ventilation is a must do not breath the fumes.soldering old zinc is alway's a challenge.if you can get it clean that is the trick let me know if this help's
