Question
Hi I would like to know if after you cut your glass if there is a way to sand the edges without the edges going white? I have tried fine sand paper and it works but I can not round my edges enough. When I tried to use my die grinder it rounds my edges but it turns them white.

Answer
Hi Debbie,
The only way to get rid of the white (or ground) edgle of the glass is to polish it, and that takes special machines and skills. I assume these pieces are not getting leaded or copper foiled, and that the edges are exposed. The best thing I can suggest is a small Covington belt sander. With the belt sander you can smooth the edges, and then use a cork belt to polish them. The cork will not do a prefect polish, but it should be good enough for edges. Hope this helps, and please let me know if you need more info.
