Question
What is the best way to mop ceramic tile floors? We just had our grout cleaned and sealed and want to keep it looking new. I know you are an advocate of microfiber. Please give details on what type of microfiber mop to buy, the proper way to use it, and the proper cleaning agent to use. Thanks!

Answer
Alan,
I see you've been reading some of my answers--YES, microfiber is the best thing since pantyhose!!
I suggest a GOOD microfiber mop.  Some that you find in the stores have a low thread count thus not able to really do a great job!  I like the ones at
www.actnatural.net

Click on "Our Products" then on "Damp Mop" then read "How to use the Damp Mop".  You need to order the following:
~ACTEX® Damp-Mophead 40 (ice)
~Composite Mop Frame (for Mophead 40)
~Prestige Telescopic Handle
FOR A FEW $$ MORE you can get:
~~#16178    ACT Natural Prestige Floor Care Package

This also includes the "Dry" mophead.

It's not cheap but they will last you forever. A review can be read at this site:

I have been looking and have contacted another company about the quality of their mop heads.  They are considerably cheaper.  I think the "High Grade Industrial" one would be the best and comes in a variety of sizes.  Here is the address of the website.  Remember, I have not used this one--but if you do, PLEASE let me know how you like it!
http://www.cleanfloorstore.com/

This is one product the you truly "Get what you pay for"

And you use only warm water--NO chemicals with any microfiber product.

I use them to clean off my makeup after work.  Hot water and the cloth and it's squeaky clean!

I have been researching the "Art of stain removal" for years; trying to find just the right combination of products that will work. I have a lot of "homemade" solutions and ones that require searching for the product (but I can guide you). I work with fabrics, carpets, leathers, car seats, etc.
