AboutSijka Expertise I have been researching the "Art of stain removal" for years; trying to find just the right combination of products that will work. I have a lot of "homemade" solutions and ones that require searching for the product (but I can guide you).
I work with fabrics, carpets, leathers, car seats, etc.

Question You recommended using a solution of aquamarine dechlorinization product detergent and water to treat the swimsuit. I am not sure how the solution is applied. Is it added to more water or sprayed on the suit . . . . ? Thank you.
Answer Barbara,
All I've done is mix the dechlorination solution with a little "cheap" laundry detergent and water. The mixture is approx 1 qt water, 2Tbl. "cheap" laundry detergent and about 10 drops of the dechlorination solution.
When you are done swimming, rinse the suit as good as you can them pour some of your mixture onto the suit and hand wash it (may need a little water). Then rinse well.
I've used this on both lycra and polyester swimsuits and they do last longer. I swim everyday and use a polyester suit. I can usually get at least one year or more from one suit. Without the solution, 6 months was the max.
Hope it works for you also.
