Question My daughter made an A with a pencil eraser on our brand new espresso finished table. I tried Murphy's oil soap, goo gone, vinegar, acetone, and a Magic eraser. (the magic eraser started scratching the finish so i'm not sure how to remove that also). The finish now has a different shine in the light from the pencil eraser it also feels rubbery in that spot. Any suggestions on how to remove it or fix the little scratches from the Magic Eraser? Thanks.
Answer Val,
You might try "Orange Glo" . Also I like these products on this website. They revive old dried out scratched wood and make it look new again. This is a real deal too! You can get just the Floor/Cabinet/furniture rejuvenater at a Home store also.
