Question Hi! I hope you can help.
My daughter spilled some cranberry juice on our leather chair. Actually, it looks like she set her cup on the arm of the chair and the juice dripped out. The stain is a ring and then a line coming from the ring. Can you offer any advice as to how we might try to clean it? I don't even know where to begin trying.
Thank you so much.
Answer Marike,
Your best bet is to use a leather cleaner. You can usually find something at a hardware store. Try to find one that is a cream, they usually work better. Put some of the cleaner on a rag and gently go over the spots lightly in circles. Don't worry too much about what it looks like while it's wet. Leather usually looks bad while you're cleaning it, but as it dries the spot should improve. Don't rub the spot too hard, just go over it a couple times and let it dry. Then do it again after a couple hours if you need to. Let me know if you have any further questions.
