My wife and i each left our laundry detergent sitting on our new granite counter top and it's left a stain in each place (the detergent leaked onto the countertop). Can you tell me if there is a way to remove the remaining stain? It looks like a clear coat was eaten away. Any advice?
Thanks
Dave
Answer I have always been told that stains cannot be removed from granite BUT the best way to know for certain is to talk with the folks that installed it or sold it. If you don't know who did either of those then try Home Depot. They usually hire folks that had careers in the areas they work in at the Depot.
