Question
I used an upholstery cleaner i purchased on a stain on my couch from moving. The stain was probably dirt. The cleaner left a stain all around the edge where it was and didn't even remove all the dirt.  What do I use to remove the stain left by the cleaner?

Answer
Try Putting a couple drops of white vinegar in a spray bottle.  Fill the rest with water.  Mist the area where the spotting is and agitate the stain with a brush or your fingers.  Take a white towel and blot the area.  Make sure you don't concentrate the water in one area.  Spread it out as far as you want to make sure you're not getting one area overwet.  That's what caused the problem the first time.  The area has to be evenly wet or you get a ring.  Even if you have to get the whole cushion or whole area where you have the ring wet, that's OK.  Just make sure it's not too wet and make sure the moisture is as even as possible.
