Question My cat decided it was necessary to urinate on my brand new Shag Carpet, which is a super thick wool, cotton, and rayon blend. Aside from wondering how to stuff a cat, I'm not sure the right way to clean it- I usually use Natures Miracle, but on wool? Any advice is appreciated (on the cleaning the carpet or stuffing the cat).
Answer I'm not touching the stuffing the cat question.
As far as the carpet goes, nature's miracle is OK for wool. The most important thing with wool is Do Not Rub. If you start scrubbing a shag wool carpet, you will process the wool and it will smooth out the affected area. You may want to spray some water down before using the natures miracle to dilute it a little. Make sure you don't overwet the spot and try to dry it by blotting with a dry towel. You can place the towel over the spot and stand on it.
Nature's miracle is a neutral cleaner so it's safe for any fabric. You just have to be gentle with the wool.
