Question
This may be an unusual question:
My wife would immerse her hands in melted
wax (warm) to help relieve rheumatism  in her hands.  This is regular liquid wax like white candle wax.
Unfortunately this tipped over and soaked
in the carpet and cooled off in the fibers.
Do you have any idea how we can remove this from the carpet?
There's no color stain involved, just
candle wax embedded in the fibers, kind of matted down.
An area of about 4 feet square.
What do you think?       ?      ?

            Thanks,   Dick
from the carpet?

Answer
Dick, It's not unusual and it's easy.  Use your clothes iron and terry cloth towels.  Heat the iron to a warm setting  and place a towel over the spots of wax.  Iron the towel and the wax will soak up into the towel.  It will take time and patience and maybe a lot of towels but all should come out.  I do this a lot in my cleaning business.

Good luck and let us know how this works out.
