Question
my husband got lilly stain on my pale turquise sofa tried to clean it off with clear water.and this has made it worse  idont know what to do with it now. we dont get much sun so putting it outside is not the answer. please help..

Answer
Wendy,

When you say the spot got worse, did it spread?  If it did, try water again but make sure you are blotting the area with a dry towel as soon as the spot starts spreading.  If it's worse because of something else, you may have to find someone to professionally clean the sofa.  If something happened with the color of the sofa, it may be a bigger problem.  If you have to use something stronger than water, put a couple drops of liquid laundry detergent in a spray bottle with water and use that.
