Stains, Mopping, Wiping, Ironing, Cleaning - orange cleaner

Expert: Todd Malin - 6/10/2009

Question
I bought orange cleaner at the 99 cent store for .99, thought it would be like Orange TKO.  When i read the label (at Home) it said, contains ethanol.  Is this safe to use to clean spots off clothing and carpet also general cleaning?  thanks Peggy

Answer
Peggy,

Many of the "orange cleaners" contain some kind of solvent.  It should be safe for clothes or carpet, but make sure you test an area first.  With clothes, I wouldn't use it unless it's as a spot remover before it's going into the washer.

Todd
