Stains, Mopping, Wiping, Ironing, Cleaning - pollen stains on vinyl boat seats

Expert: Todd Malin - 8/13/2009

Question
Hello - could you please tell me what is the best product/application to remove yellow pollen stains from the vinyl seats of a boat?  Thanks!

Answer
Christina,

Make a solution of water and non-bleaching liquid laundry detergent in a 16oz. bottle.  Just put enough detergent in the bottle to barely cover the bottom of the bottle and fill the rest with water.  Spray the solution on the cushions and agitate with a brush.  Any kind of soft bristled brush will work,(make sure it's clean).  Then take a white towel and dry the cushions as best you can.  You should be able to brush the spots out of the cushions with the solution.

Todd
