Stains, Mopping, Wiping, Ironing, Cleaning - kerosene in carpet

Expert: Bern - 9/24/2009

Question
Kerosene was spilled in my car on the carpet.  Someone suggested using Ozium.  What is it and where can you buy it.  Any other suggestions to remove the odor?  Thanks

Answer
Ozium can be found.  Just Google it.  IMO the thing to do here is take the care to a detail shop and have the carpet shampooed.  Tell them you are specifically trying to get rid of the kerosene smell.

It should be easy and once the kerosene is gone the odor should be gone.
