Stains, Mopping, Wiping, Ironing, Cleaning/Cigerette Smoke

Question
I'm renting a small house that smells like stale cigerette smoke.  I've washed all the walls, windows and the carpet has been professionally cleaned.  It still smells.  Any suggestions?

Answer
Loretta,
I found a spray called "OZIUM" that works quite well.  It comes in a small and large size.  You would probably have to spray all the carpets, ducts, floors, walls and then shut up the apt. for a few hours.  It works in my car when my brother uses it and smokes.  You may have to buy a couple of cans.

Also getting or borrowing a really good air cleaner/ionizer and leaving it on high for a day or so after the ozium.

What did you wash the walls with? "TSP Cleaner" is really good at getting rid of cig smell. Can get it at the hardware store.

Good Luck!

I have been researching the "Art of stain removal" for years; trying to find just the right combination of products that will work. I have a lot of "homemade" solutions and ones that require searching for the product (but I can guide you). I work with fabrics, carpets, leathers, car seats, etc.
