Question
I have 4 airmail stamps. They are black with a plane coming in on the left hand side flying over a building. They are in a plastic sleeve unhinged. They are 10 cent a piece. I think they are from 1947. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Melissa,

It reads like your stamps are Scott number C34, the 1947 Pan American Union Building airmail issue. They have a catalog (retail) value of 25¢ apiece in mint condition.  If the four stamps form a corner block of four with a plate number in the selvage, the value is $1.75.
