Dear Prachi , Yes. It is M.M.Mukhi & Sons located on D.N.Road, Fort , Mumbai 400001. He is very much into stamp dealing and still retains his love for the romance in stamp collecting.

M M Mukhi still operates as a stamp dealer but his rates have become exaggeratedly expensive. I recommend Shabbir Slatewala who sits two shops away from Mukhi. Not only he has a greater variety but his prices are very reasonable in comparison too.

Dear Aniket,

As advised by you I did go to Slatewala, The Guy with Long White Beard and a Golden Skull Cap, for some missing stamps / FDC of India... He did not have any stock.

Also he showed me some rarities that I got interested in. But initially he quoted me almost Rs. 5000 for something worth Rs. 1000. Its only because I negotiated and I really wanted that he sold to me for Rs. 1100

Do you know any other fixed price shop in Mumbai besides Mukhi & Sons where I can rely on the prices and not be scared of paying 5 times the price for being ignorant ?

Hi Isha Negi,

To be honest, there are many dealers in Mumbai catering to different areas of philately. Please share your area of interest or write to me:

Being an avid philatelist myself, I will be glad to help.
