Question
PERF ERROR
PERF ERROR
I HAVE A 44CENT KENTUCKY FLAG PNC STAMP. THE PERFS HAVE SHIFTED TO THE RIGHT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STAMP. IS THIS A LISTED ERROR, OR JUST A FREAK.SEE PIC.

Answer
Hi Owen,
Thanks for the question,
Owen, Although minor, this is a pretty unusual Misperf/ Die-cut shift, on a coil stamp. But most collectors would consider this a minor error or freak. It might be of interest to collectors of EFO's (Errors, Freaks and Oddities), or possibly Plate# Coil collectors ( this is a plate# single because of the number at bottom. The Scott Catalog does not list minor errors/freaks as there are just to many different varieties. They only list major errors such as color omitted and imperforate type errors.
If I were to guess a value I would put it in the $3-$8 range. Hope this helps.
Thanks again for the question,
Mike
