Stamps (Philately)/Value of Stamps

Hello my Husband found some stamps that belonged to his Grandmother.  Were not sure if they are worth anything and appreciate you taking the time to answer this inquiry.  Buffalo Bill Cody USA 15,  Margaret Mitchell USA 1, Sinclair Lewis USA 14, Paul Dudley White MD USA 3,The Land Of The Free The Home Of The Brave USA 15 and one that says This U.S. stamp, along with 25 cents of additional U.S. postage, is equivalent to the 'F' stamp rate.  This last one is red writing within some type of gold colored border. Some of them are mounted on something hard does that lessen the value if worth anything?  We appreciate your time and look forward to hearing back.

Thank you,

The stamps you describe are all definitive issues ranging from 1978 to 1991.  Definitives are the everyday "workhorse" stamps, of which millions are printed, sold and used.  In unused, "post office fresh" condition, the stamps you listed are basically worth about face value (and the last one with the writing has a face value of four cents).  Any kind of mounting that physically affects a stamp or its gum on the back does reduce its collectible value.
