Stamps (Philately)/first day covers

Question
I have many first day covers from the US, France and Isreal. What internet program or book will give me the present day value?

Answer
Advice and catalogs for US first day covers is best sought here:

http://www.afdcs.org/  which is the homepage for the American First Day Cover Society.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of anything similar for France and Israel.  Possibly the Bale catalog for Israel.  Otherwise, use your favorite search engine and see what you can find.

Remember, condition and demand set the market value for any collectible.  A price list or an open ebay (or other auction) lot does not set the value until someone pays that price, so look at sold lots.

Without cachets, and without address, many US FDCs sit unsold even at 25-cents each.
