Question
hello - I found some $1 stamps in our office.
from a search I discovered they are a Scott #2590
Saratoga Campaign painting issued May 1994.

they haven't been used but are not in a sheet.
do they much value besides using as a stamp?
thanks

Answer
Ben,

Definitive stamps such as the $1 Burgoyne Surrender issue were printed by the tens of millions.  So many exist in collectors hands that they have not effectively appreciated in value.  The stamp is still valid for postage at face value.
