Stamps (Philately)/Stamp value

Question
I live in a home that was built approx in 1880.
Within the cracks of the wide pine floors I came across a stamp in excellent condition.  It is Gold Bond Stamp.  It says Minneapolis, cash value 1 MILL (HMU 756).  Does it have any value or should I just discard it?

Answer
Laura,

Its a savings stamp, similar to Blue Chip stamps or S & H Green stamps.  It might be worth a penny or two to a collector of such stamps.
